Apartments in Bali

Most homes listed on Nest Bali are villas, but apartments are a good fit for some people. They tend to suit anyone who wants less upkeep than a house with its own garden and pool, a smaller space that is easy to lock and leave, or a shorter commitment while getting to know the island. This page gathers apartments from across Bali in two sections: apartments for long-term rent and apartments for sale.

If you are renting, look closely at the building as well as the unit. Ask which facilities are shared, such as a pool, gym, parking or security, and who manages the building day to day. Find out what the rent includes: cleaning, internet, electricity, water or furniture can all be handled differently, and knowing this up front makes listings easier to compare. Check how repairs are requested and how quickly they are usually dealt with.

If you are buying, the same questions matter, along with a few more. Ask what the price covers, whether furniture is included, what ongoing service or management charges apply, and how the common areas are maintained. Find out whether the unit is offered freehold or leasehold, and the remaining lease length if it applies. Before buying, check title, zoning and ownership structure with a licensed notary (PPAT). Each section below shows current listings so you can compare both options.
